Tried the VIIC turm in GWX 2.0 and it worked fine as far as I could see. The only thing I noticed was the even more rising buoyancy when the boat is at 0 knot at PD (as in GWX 1.03).

Here are some in-game pictures I took. Sehr gut gemacht Tomi_099!

Und ich denke daß es viele Leute gibt, der auf solch ein schönes boot segeln möchten. Ja, auch mit andere boot und turm typen.

Tomi said that on the blueprinst the VIIB / VIIC and VII/41 shows little to no difference in hull configuration!:hmm:

is that the pressure hull i see??
I believe the answer would be yes as that appears to be the inside/whats under the skin...
Truly amazing work though....truly amazing...

@ Tomi: I had a friend way back, Martin Wright, Who was a friend from across the pond who back in the day ( when MS Combat Flight Sim came out) created a scenery program for it. Which MS had released codes (it was a good thing) and he capitalized on it...
http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/
He got requisitioned to work on CFS2 and the story for him begins..

Tomi your doing great work and are bringing a new level to this lady who is 2 years old now, and as someone else said "has matured very well".
I wanna thank you, the GWX team, NYGM team, JC, and anyone else who has contributed (UNSELFISHLY), many man/women hours of testing, sitting behind the computer and at sometimes banging your head...having to walk away to only think about what is wrong/right and what you can do to make it better for all of us here in the community as a whole...
can you imagine what would become of this sim if all gathered as one...

Kudos to you my friend/friends

KD

What A Wonderful Dream!!

What A Wonderful Dream!!

@gimpy117
ever considered doing this for money Tomi??

------------------------------------------------

GWX - Team, NYGM - Team, JC, and WAC- Team,

Just IMAGINE that Ubisoft turned towards us , the GWX, NYGM, WAC and JC teams to start a new Project...

That would bring them BIG TIME PUBLICITY, we would take the players on board (of the project) and they would do that once-in-a-lifetime job!

That would save monetary resources too, because the teams are already well coordinated/already know each other/have a teamwork attitude.

That would be a milestone in Games development and possibly a Major success in Game development!

...what a nice dream...

...that we are, well actually... making come true!

there you go, brother!
bitte sehr bruder

now back to work!
(DAS brauch ich nicht zu uebersetzen, oder?)

That event, if it ever come about, would be a team decision made by the devs

Hey Tomi!

Nice work! Maybe we're even neighbours here in Munich.

Some of those renders would make very nice desktop backgrounds. For example the fourth one from this post: the 'frontal view' in front of the 'Spantenplan'. Or the one with the Buchheim perspective, even though one would like to see more of the boat there. Or the one with the pressure hull form a later post.
So in case you ever get bored: blow one of these up to a decent size (1680x1050?).And maybe you could even send it in to the 'SubSim Wallpaper Contest'.

But whatever the outcome, good luck with your work!
