Anyone whos ever been to sea before will tell you that the nights are BLACK.....inky black...swimming in black....cant see ur hand in front of ur face blackest of black, besides the phosphoresence in the wakewater. Stars really account for naff all light...a moon however, on a cloudless night is a totally different story.

Now my critique:
mods pretty good not much to bitch about, however the reflection of the sky and sun seems to me somewhat off.... bit to milky and thin... original GWX2.1 seems to me better.... just my 2 bobs worth

good work

I use OLCE + Thomsen's Water v3.3 + OLCE sun fix and sun looks OK, but sun fix change some files of Thomsen's water mod - may I ignore this?

PS. Phoenix1957 - what officer icon mod do you use? I like small orders icon.

People really should read more.

From OLC's Ubermod changelog, on the thread's first page:

v1.6
  • Tweaks and fixes to the appearance of underwater 3D objects and bitmap particles, particularly at night.
  • Included Rubini's Water Stream mod in OLCE2.
  • Merged the 'flat sun fix' modlet into OLCE2.
That means, the flat sun fix is already merged into OLCE2, so it's redundant to enable it again.

I have just OLCE2 with my mod and I have sun halo like the two screenshots above.

you have seen my screen shots i have not changed the version of OLCE2
That can be related to the level of anti-aliasing you're using.

I use x2 AA and must enable flat sun fix for sun halo, after OLCE and water v3.3.

What files and folders do you have inside of the flat sun fix?

If you're replacing my files, it's pointless.

Send me this flat sun fix and I'll work on it.

I would imagine because if 'every worthwhile thread' was 'stickied'....you'd have to go to the second or third page to get to the latest topic.

Agreed!

Besides, it's always on the top of the page, so sticking it is redundant.
