Not sure right now, maybe 4 to 6 weeks, all depends on my real life work load.

I think that is what sober is attempting with his "SSM" mod at the moment.

One question about this mod...I understand that currently only a portion of the war is covered by the mod. Does that mean that the other uncovered periods are stock SH4 or have some changes been made throughout?
Thanks!

Got to RFB or TM mod pages and you will find this is incorporated. They have made them compatible with other mods such as NSM and Taters new campaign layers/DC mod. They are coming along. Currently I'm running:

ROW
RFB for ROW
RSRD for RFB
just installed Petos prolonged DC attack mod behind it all and it works great.

Won't be long before the very large mod packages are available. It take time and work so we be patient and wait.

So AVG, you are running ROW on 1.4 with no problems so far?

@ Archie,

Yes, I run the ROW mod that was set up for patch 1.3. There are two pieces of it I do not use. ROW ship reflections and ROW sky and ocean controls. I do not care ship reflections and how my card renders them. Sky and ocean controls have a different set up and does not work well with the new 20000 vision offer up with the new patch. Leo is fixing that. At any rate, I have no issues running these mods together. The game is pretty much flawless with these mods.

If I may be so bold, can I ask what order you are running them in on JSGME?

So to check you have RSRD and the row files below plus Prolonged DC etc.

My question with your experience do you think NSM3 and the latest TM could be added with out many worries.

Just wish these great mods and their respective modders would combine, if they did I recon we'd have something at least as mega as GWX perhaps better.

At Rascal101

I would say at this time NSM is not ready yet. If you recall, Leo made a NSM mod compatible with ROW. Do you recall Leo had the classic, reduced and stock special effects for NSM? Being Leo is working on ROW right now, I would suspect that the NSM would not work well. Personally, I would wait until Leo has ROW out that is 1.4 compatible. As you can see, I have two ROW parts that I do not use because they do not work with the 1.4 update. ROW special effects for stock would obviously work fine as the file is basically stock. So I left that in for now...

Also, I do not know were Werner is with the new updated 1.4 NSM. I believe his has a thread started for testing somewhere around here.

As far as TM, I believe Duci is reworking the whole deal. He also has a thread started somewhere around here.

NSM is currently 1.4 approved, Werner has new information available as well as a nice video on what NSM 4.0 will do for 1.4.

Check out Werners thread for info.........http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=120269

Default Query

I've been bouncing back and forth between the pages of this thread and still have a doubt so I'll just come out and ask.
Can the RSRD be installed over TM1.7? The very, very first post indicates 'yes' but there was a later post that advised against it.

Confused in Canada, LOL.
