You can sell anything that you have supply of. So, if you decided to buy up every single banana in the world, then Austria would become the world's supreme banana republic. Wait a minute... My apologies, that should be world's supreme banana monarchy!

But yeah, you can sell anything and everything you have. Any production buildings you have in other countries or in your colonies transport goods to the home country, where you can then sell it onwards.
