My cat screams and hollers blody murder when we bath him but he quickly calms down and realizes .. hey this aint so bad. The trick is to use nice warm water. Cats love the warms.

Sounds like my friend's dog. He'll jump right into a lake or stream, and when he drinks out of his great big bowl he sticks his whole head underwater.

But fill up a tub, and he's instantly off hiding somewhere.
