Thank You for positive feedback guys!

I got my hands on the very rare ESCI model from the 70-ies.
The guy on E-bay gave me hard time though.

Another 2 on their way to me. Ill choose the best 2 and sell the remaining kit back on auction.
Ill start when the boat is finished. I never start 2 models at the same time, as in the past some models lost the challenge to newer competitors, and never seen the finishing line.:hmm:

Just the small update.
The dials.
Theres 2 big dials on the front bulkhead.
The small dial i believe to be the speed repeater, is just the PE from Eduard- glued on the slightly modified revell part.

Im working on the big dial now.

Really curious ... those last 4 pics, which I think is maybe where you're forming what I guess is the bulwark in the yellow cardstock form, and then the last pic showing it in place ... is that what you're doing and what's going on in the pic where the yellow form looks sprinkled with powder? is that brass you're forming?

Sorry for multiple questions. Looks great btw.

The yellow thing is just the sheet of cardboard.
It is cut to the shape of the outline of the CT. The 1mm slot houses the 1mm copper wire, securing it from twisting, while im sanding it to the profile of the letter D in order to get the nice bond, and to look neat.
Basic, round wire is hard to glue on without the ca ruining the edges. When is sanded it goes on without problem, and the joint is strong.
