No, not yet. Once Hitman is finished making all his changes I will include it in a patch update.

Is my assumption to install the fog patch over the latest RFB patch correct? IIRC the 18th Feb. patch didn't have scene.dat included...

Yep, I noticed it right away. SO reports "no sound contact," even though it sounds like a freight train to me. Maybe a very experienced SO would do better, but it does seem like someone must have waived the hearing test during their enlistment physicals.

The updated patch file is listed now in the first post. This fixes the problem with the soundman not picking up sound contacts like he should be. In addition, the effects of the submarine's speed and the intensity of the waves is now more properly accounted for. Along with that, the skill level of the soundman should now play a more relevant role.

Fog fix is important. What happens if we put scene.dat from the Fog fix over scene.dat from this latest 6th Mar patch?

I notice the latest patch does have scene.dat, what's new in that file?

I too would like to know that answer. However, I have installed the fog patch fix after the latest patch anyway. So far no problems.

I have finished so far doing the main adjustments to files, based on test missions in different conditions I create. I'm now conducting a campaign in early war to test the sensor in "real" conditions, but obviously progress is slow because I don't have much time to play.

Here is the fix, in BETA status, for those who want to try it:

http://www.mediafire.com/?jt2yztwz1j0

If you can report here later, I'd be most grateful. The only thing I need is either the comment that everything works well, or a report of a situation the player considers incorrect. In that case, just note where it happened (Rough patrol area), when (Month, day, hour), the visibility (Excellent, good, medium, bad) and a brief description of what happened.

Thanks

Since the march 6th patch the game runs rather choppy for me and crashes fairly often, not sure what is causing it. Also when you reach patrol area isnt the objective supposed to update?

Tried it and didn't see any worse ore better performance. Went to Philipines (restarted campaign) and do a little shootout with 2 destroyers That was a beautifull death.
When you get to patrol area (binoculars icon) you need to... patrol it. 100 or 200 NM circle for few days...
Objectives are changed (not always) when you get to destination point (flag icon).

Did a patrol yesterday. With patch downloaded March 7th and fog fix. Still no sound contacts. That's weird cause with previous patch/versions I never have this problem.
Watch crew still spotting ships at about 12000m, when I see nothing (clear sky, no fog).
