She found a home in Muskegon, Michigan where she has been ever since. when i am headed up that ways, i join their members' club and then cajol the lead guy to open up the conning tower for my guests and me. it is normally closed because it is a very vertical ladder and not everyone has the strength and coordination to go up AND down, safely, despite what they think. And there are no soft spots or safe areas on a submarine (lol) which makes falling a contact sport. thanks for sharing.
