Correct. No more stuffing around with shortcuts.

When SH3Cmdr is installed it will naturally point itself to your default SH3 installation. Simply go to the SH3 Options screen and select the SH3 installation that you would prefer to connect to SH3Cmdr.

This version of SH3Cmdr is so beautiful that I want to start a carrer asap.

I'm using a fatigue mod where the crew never get fatigued :rotfl: can I use it again ?

One of Commander's options is 'No Fatigue'.

Prior "Game data" is never changed by Cmdr. However...prior "Cmdr" data WILL be.
If for some strange reason...you decide not to read the "Readme"..(which is called SH3CUG.pdf) you should at least know...you MUST rollback before upgrading.

:hmm: Have no idea why he called it that....

"quoted" from above mentioned...readme...or CUG...whatever that means...

Rolling back SH3 Commander
Rolling back SH3 Commander, or Rollback, are terms given to removing from Silent Hunter III the modifications that SH3 Commander has made. This can be achieved by clicking the icon from within SH3 Commander. This icon will only be visible if there are SH3 Commander modifications present in Silent Hunter III.

SH3 Commander User Guide – Release 3
In order to avoid any potential file integrity problems, it is imperative that you ALWAYS perform a rollback BEFORE:

enabling or disabling any mods, either via JSGME or manually;

uninstalling or reinstalling Silent Hunter III;

uninstalling SH3 Commander.
Your Commander career information and SH3 Commander options are stored in a file called 'SH3Cmdr.ini'. If you want to preserve this data, you must never delete this file. Uninstalling SH3 Commander through Windows’ ‘Add or Remove Programs’ will not delete this file.

Hope that helps

Yeah, I guess it is an assumption to expect people to understand (or even care) why I'd call the SH3 Commander User Guide something as silly as SH3CUG. :rotfl:

@thehiredgun, you can install SH3Cmdr R3.0 at any time or stage of your career. Just ensure that you've pressed the "Rollback SH3" button in your existing version first, before uninstalling it. And if you've tweaked/personalised any of the SH3Cmdr\Cfg files, don't forget to back them up too.

Love the Expansion. Its really well done. Very proffesional.

How do I change the gray map icons back to the original color that identified them as friendly or enemy?

You'll need the mod entitled 'contact_color'....I'm sure someone will post it here for you soon.

If you have difficulty, PM me and I'll u/l it back onto my FF account
