Well I'm taking an intro to 2d art course in College. Part of that is to do a sketch book journal of work on one subject. What kind of subject would interest me?

How about the works of Tom Clancy?

This is the first image I have drawn (we are required to do three items a week).

Bear in mind that I have not drawn anything in like 9 years...

Just did this today on tablet. My attempt of the Oberon Class after flipping through my Submarines book when I got bored.
The image was too small for me to attempt drawing details (and I googled, but several results were too different or didn't have top views). So I sort of made it a foggy morning or something XD Take in mind I have not drawn submarines for.... a year and a half or so? I'm trying to dig up my old pics of the HMAS Rankin and my own submarine that I made up for my story (yes I write stories).

I know some parts looks weird or out of place, I am trying to work on more stuff like this...

Let's see what it's going to look like in SH3, with some textures. Soon.

Thought i would finally share some of my artwork. I havnt put pencil to paper in years.

1st image: Shelby Series one. This was drawn using a standard number 2 pencil while looking at a concept drawing in a magazine. Ink was freehanded over the pencil lines. Unfinished. Approx 1998

2nd Image: F-18. This was drawn using a standard number 2 pencil while looking at a photograph in an aviation magazine. Ink was freehanded over the pencil lines. Approx 1998

3rd Image: Ink over pencil. Based on video game advertisement from about 1997.

4th Image: Beretta 9mm. Pencil with ink accents. 1999?

5th Image: Rattlesnake in desert. Pencil. 1997

6th Image: Purchased a T-shirt on a ski trip in 1995 that had this on the back of it. Freehand while looking at the shirt.

Indeed. You certainly had far superior technical drawing skills than I did at that age.

Few recent renders, started getting back into Poser again Rather pleased with these two, some of the first I've done with displacement turned on. Tried displacememnt before but it seemed to just slow render times down, but if you only put 0.1 on then it's perfectly adequate and you still get fine render times these are also some of the only ones which I've edited in Photoshop too.
