Maybe dogs have some rules we are not aware of. The dog (and owner) with the strongest scent are allowed to pass trough

This calls for empirical research. Next time I'm going to just ask someone directly what's the infallible logic behind something as illogical as that behavior. So far I have been content with asking "did your toy run out of batteries" while going past them, but I suppose it's time for something more constructive.

work rule #273:

When you read the schedule and expect a calm and non-stressful day the exact opposite happens .
Damned, I couldn't even blame Murphy (the law guy) - as a co-worker goes by this name.

Yesterday, our 7 month cat had to be given a lethal injection. 10 days ago he was diagnosed with FIP, an incurable virus infection.
I just hope that the stories about the other side of the Rainbow Bridge are true.

Sorry to hear about it
Regarding the rainbow bridge: cats deserve that place more than we do

The best leave first, as the saying goes. I have noticed that this is true for both humans and animals.

Thanks.
Yeah, he was definitely too young. Unfortunately, we fell a victim of a dishonest breeder and a lack of common sense in a certain moment.

Remember the good times...as I'm sure your loved pet will.

Speaking of cats, I stumbled by chance on a very interesting article concerning their bigger cousins and their training. I can say I really know anything about training dogs, but I found it fascinating how these trainers also use similar psychology as is used in training them. Should make good reading for anyone interested in animal training.

Great, so much for the hardworking are going forward or how the saying goes

Got suggested at the management for a promotion to a CNC operator. Almost double the pay, less work. All 5 current operators agreed, team leader personaly went to vouch for me. Same for the programers and lead programer. But they hit a rock. The department boss decided I am too capable of a modeler to let me go behind the machine

Volunteer to do both - a day at CNC and a day playing with plastecine, alternately.

not possible. It's a fixed wortime for CNC operators. I'd had to do morning shift CNC and afternoon shift model making. too much

Oh I can't say I agree entirely with that assessment
