The only possibility of that (and a small one at that) would be a Labour government giving in to trade union pressure.

Does those figures mean 5 million people on benefits in the UK, not 'workers'. Because 2 million of those mentioned are foreigners who have no right to benefits in our country.

Forgive me if I find that hard to go along with after a NHS leaflet came though my letter box today. My nearest A+E about 7 miles away will be closing this October making the next nearest A+E over 12 miles away!

As much as I dislike the Unions tendency to play politics rather than actually represent the people they're supposed to, this is one area where Labour could safely do a U-Turn. It actually might be a vote winner as the concept isn't exactly popular with ordinary working people.

Zero Hour contracts are a utter travesty. Ordinary people fought long and hard for things like holidays with pay and paid sick leave. I've no desire to see working conditions slip back to a pre-WW2 level.

I would like to see a return to full time employment rather than large companies hiring only casuals who they can hire and fire at whim, do not have to give them holidays or pension contributions and save a relative fortune.

A certain company near me does this and the casuals ring up and say, I'm not coming in today, and there is nothing the company can do, and one region where the casual cannot be fired, going on the 'sick'.

This in turn drops all the other staff in the brown stuff as they have to cover that person at no extra pay.

Average wage in UK €2500, Slovenia €1000, cost of food, same, outside major cities apartment rents are the same and taxes are lower
