Fairchild XC-120 was developed from those others already mentioned; the loading bay as a "pod" is the same principle employed by Thunderbird Two

It's some rotating mechanism, with each of the pipes being one stop. I don't know the English words, it's some sort of "conveyor belt" for a lengthy piece of cloth or maybe even (wall)paper, I think, with the cloth going over (or through?) the pipes.
