Just like the sound of running water makes me want to piss!

The Tory's talking about Europe makes me want to poop.

Recently a poll suggested that UKIP would make a terrible government.

UKIP have since had him deported....

Lord Oakeshott's resignation letter, or part of it, and I can't say I disagree with him. Clegg has got to go and the Lib Dems have to show a bit of back-bone against the Tories if they're not going to be wiped out at the next election.
They seem to have this mistaken belief that the reason that they're being wiped out is because they're in coalition with the Tories who have made unpopular choices, this is quite wrong, it's because they have systematically betrayed every single voter that voted for them in the 2010 elections by reneging on every promise they made, not exactly surprising for the cynical amongst us, but for the student vote which was their biggest block it was a major let down.
Lynch Clegg, install someone half decent (not Cable) and start rebelling against the Tories, bring the damn government down if need be, only then would the Lib Dems stand half a chance of survival.

As it is, they're screwed.

The only lib dem that would ever get my vote was Ashdown, but now he's become a little mad too. Heck, that man could lead the Tories, why he chose yellow I'll never know.

It's a shame because Clegg had promise, I mean, I liked Kennedy but he wasn't leader material, not strong enough and Ming belonged in a Werthers Originals advert, Clegg was someone new, fresh, young and confident. Watching him in PMQs back when Brown was PM actually made me sit up and think 'Wow, the Lib Dems have someone with a backbone'...Dear God, how wrong can one be? But, I knew that this would happen as soon as it was announced that Clegg had gone with Cameron. If only Brown had offered to stand down and call for new leadership elections in the Labour Party then Clegg may have gone for Labour, and he might have managed to keep some of his voter base. Quite what the economy would be like now under a Lib/Lab coalition is a matter for long and winded debate I am sure, but I think the Lib Dems would be in slightly better shape.

As a out an out Labour supporter and party member, I thought Clegg was OK and a good leader of the Lib Dems, there was no way would I have ever voted for him or his party, but my sister had that misfortune to do so in 2010 (but never again) after always voting Labour that was down to Gordon Brown being PM, I just wished that he would have stepped down and David Miliband had taken over 12 months before the 2010 general election, the result may have been a bit different, but that is also up for argument.
As for Clegg now well he as sunk lower than a snakes belly after getting into bed with the Tories and going back on all his promises just so that he had that bit of power, which will just about wipe his party out in the 2015 general election.

Iain Duncan Smith has promised there will be 'no food banks within 5 years' if his party wins the next election.

They're just going to shut them and let the plebs starve to death.

Looking back, Brown should have stepped down as you suggest and hopefully David Miliband could have picked up and repair the pieces....alright, I know he is a friend of mine but honestly, there is a lot more about him than what we have currently.

Currently, I look at what the leadership options are for any of the parties and I shudder at the thought.

As a Labour Party member my conscience tells me Miliband and co. do not have the answers.

The local Liberal Democrat politician came to my door earlier.

He said, "I lost. Not one single vote! When I came round here last week, you promised you would vote for me!"

I replied, "Well, now you know how it feels."

Cameron still finds the time to support the national team prior to their involvenent in the World Cup.

Probably causing massive depression throughout the squad

Nick Clegg has given an emotional interview in which he insisted it had not crossed his mind to resign indeed there was every reason to celebrate.

In fact he said that he and the other Lib Dems were going to have a small party.

George Osborne has just gotten a new sports car. He goes to Liverpool and runs over a little girl's puppy. A furious onlooker gets Osborne out of the car, draws a circle on the road and tells Osborne to stand in it. Then he gets out his knife and cuts up his leather seats. He turns around and sees Osborne's smiling. So he goes to his truck, takes out a baseball bat, and starts busting his windows and beating his car. He looks back to see that Osborne's laughing. He's really mad now, so he takes his knife and slices Osborne's tires. He turns around and Osborne's laughing so hard, he's about to fall down.
The man demands, "What's so funny?"
Osborne says, "Every time you weren't looking, I stepped out of the circle!"

Out of the shadows steps the grey man...

Former Prime Minister Sir John Major has said he believes David Cameron will succeed in reclaiming powers from the European Union before holding a referendum on the UK's membership.

Mr Cameron has promised to hold a referendum on EU membership in 2017, if the Tories win the next general election, so people can decide if they are satisfied with the concessions his government will have negotiated in the meantime.
Which is the lesser evil....another term for the Tories or remaining in the EU?
