I'm already tired; not of you, but of these "We're all right and one moderator is ruining it for us" games. A lot of people have commented that they agree with the person in question. As I see it, all you're really trying to do is stir up trouble.

Default Needed Mods for SHIV

No matter how good the ship selection turns out to be, the mod community will still be there to make it better. There is no way that the dev team can include every ship used in the Pacific, after all. Thus, I think we can expect to see continued modding of shipping in SHIV.

Default mod idea

I wonder if it would be feasible to implement a command something like "shadow" which would let your navigator follow a surface ship at a distance that you could see him, but he couldn't see you (so you think) you could do this with a visual or a radar contact.

Thanks,
Mylander

maybe i'll start modelling a narwhal class boat, since they were not included in game. And hope there is a way to place it in the game

edit; actually that would include making interiors too. Too much work. Maybe if we made a little mod team to do it, it could be done

You can just use one of the existing interiors. For alot of people its not such a big deal, since we spend 80% of time staring at the Nav map anyhow.

Hmm, I think the Periscope view has to be done. It looks ugly compared to SH3...

Exactly. I mean, c'mon, let's get our priorities straight. Sub skins and wave reflectionss and ship textures are one thing, but not the most important to the well-rounded skipper!
