Nukes? IMHO That would not really make it a fun game to play. If you just blast anything that moves without fear of reaction, then that is not fun... Just IMHO

Note the hull damage.

Don't miss.

On a side note, I finally discovered how to increase the ROF of the FlaK 20s. Sounds like a pair of Phalanxes going off.

<giggles madly>

Some of y'all are getting your panties full of sand- I'm just stretching the other end of all the "Seriously Realistic" mods.

I'm having fun. You have fun too, Play as you like.

Wow... Such a score seems quite impossible for me, but... Mods can make miracles happen. Anyways, Patboot, how long did that patrol take?... Hours or days?

Frankly, I'd probably never play like that... I look for max realism, not max explosions. But who said experiments should be banned?... Sending the 500th merchant flyin' in a single patrol could be fun, gotta try that some day.

Hmm a new super mod, Grey Monkeys... U-boats the size of battleships... torpedos that can fly out of the water and hit planes while homing in on merchants that are going 1 mile an hour and send them to the moon.., a gigantic never ending merchant train from britain to america... warships that look like the Starship enterprise and fires phaser beams.. the bombs in planes replaced with nukes... a giant merchant ship wheigning 200 thousand tons and can be sunk with one torpedo... ships when they blow up they blow up in a nuclear size explosion, and if the middle ship in a convoy blows up it can destroy the entire convoy by itself :hmm: :rotfl:

The true "nuke torpedo" risks your own boot as well- blast radius and such, and you only get credit for the one you hit; ancilliary damage doesn't count.

I haven't messed with the torps at all, except to make some available earlier in the timeline.

"Jurgen" is back out on another 'Mad MaX' patrol, while steadfast "Fischer" is grinding through 1942 in a VIIb (at 50% real).

Thanks to Timetraveler for the fun 'lil toy.

Oh- Lil? that one was just under 3 weeks- I just ran out of convoys... :rotfl:

While testing damage, i used the nuke torp ( not anymore ) and you DO get credit for killing the WHOLE convoy with one nuke torpedo.
