Dont get too many problems with my GW watch crew
Though I remember on one occasion I heard the horrendous scream of metal on metal and got the message "we are taking damage"
Moved to bridge view to find we are bouncing of the sides of a C2 on a parrallel course !
Geez it looked big but still never got a "ship spotted" message

I had a similar experience, but it wasn't a C2. It was a destroyer. granted, the wather was bad (but if the weather was so bad, how did the bloody destroyer find me, eh?), but still, the first warning I had, was shouted warnings of floodings, engines destroyed, men down on deck; after about 5 seconds of that, I got the "submarine destroyed" screen. I'd just had time to click on the warship icon on the map screen to see it was (IIRC) a J-class destroyer.

No 'dead is dead' for me when it pulls this crap on me outta nowhere.
