That was the "happy time" convoy mission. No warships nearby, unless you count all the armed merchants taking pot shots at me zipping by at 1000 KPH. A couple of them hit each other, i wish i had got some screenshots of that.

Seriously, if you change the "speed boost" for your BushG in the cfg, you can get some screaming speed. Oh, and still maintain *some* kind of controll, lol I set at boost 2.25- max speed in a VIIC/3 is 56 kts in clear/no wind. Destroyers? I just run away from em, heehee. Chase down Elcos like rabbits. Oh- note well; torps run at 30 knots. Slow down when firing. Learned that one the hard way. :rotfl: |
