I sunk some ships in convoy in the english channel once. Got away too. It was fun. Early in the war 1940s convoys run thru english channel.

Mr. Salyers,

If you find out what it was for sure, let me know.

They were mines, just as DerKaleun supposed; lovely, spikey little b@stards, floating majestically on their long tethers. After reading his post, I gave it another try, but instead of enabling the external camera, I dived to 16 meters and extended the observation scope. There was just enough light from the surface for me to make them out. I slid past one with the narrowest of margins, then had to turn several degrees to port a little later to miss another one. The field seemed to clear just west of Calais (or I got lucky!). Good thing, too, because by then, night was falling, and I could no longer make them out. It's been a harrowing tour thus far. The north of Scotland is looking better and better for a route back home!
:hmm:

Thanks! Just wanted to know for sure that something more sinister wasn't going on there... like Jonz' sea-monsters lol.
