it's not about what everyone else thinks A Lady...

it's only about what you think...

... about what you see, about how you perceive your world to be, and about how you percieve your fellow man and woman as...

it's about you, and all others like you who have not yet learned to open your hearts and minds to the goodness in all of us...

multiply you by a million or two... and all who think like you, regardless of the viewpoint they adhere to, regardless of the pseudo religious brainwashing they allow themselves to be seduced by... by a million or two... and you have the state of affairs that exists today in your part of the world...

add to that mix, a half million or two here in the US with the same mental blindness that afflicts all of the above, and you have the beginnings of a world gone mad...

mad, A Lady... as in Mutually Assured Destruction...

there's still time though... precious little time...

the future is already written, but it has an infinite number of pathways... i don't expect you to understand, much less comprehend it, but trust me... it is true...

there is more than one you... and in the future where the you that has opened her eyes is heading, the world has started on its way to become the utopia that it could be...

... and in the future that the you who is speaking now, the blind you is heading... the world as you know it ends very abruptly.

Israel's parliament passed a measure Thursday that would force Palestinians who marry Israelis to live separate lives or move out of Israel. The government said the law was necessary to prevent terror attacks, but critics called it racist. The law, to be in effect for one year, would prevent Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza Strip who marry Israeli Arabs from obtaining residency permits in Israel.

In pushing the measure, Israel's government cited instances in which Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza have exploited their residency permits — which grant them freedom of movement in Israel — to carry out terror attacks. "This law comes to address a security issue," Cabinet Minister Gideon Ezra told Israel Radio. "Since September 2000 we have seen a significant connection, in terror attacks, between Arabs from the West Bank and Gaza and Israeli Arabs." The vote was 53 in favor, 25 against and one abstention.

"This is a racist law that decides who can live here according to racist criteria," said Yael Stein from the Israeli rights group B'tselem. The tsunami that devastated parts of Southeast Asia brought an Israeli and a Palestinian couple together in the most trying of circumstances, the Israelis said Tuesday -- on the roof of a truck, with flood waters swirling around them.

Yossi and Inbar Gross said they were spending their honeymoon in the Thai resort of Phuket when the area was overwhelmed by a wall of water.

"What happened was, we and this Palestinian couple jumped on the roof of this Ford van," Yossi Gross told Israel Army Radio. "Below us was a raging river, a sea that washed up into the city and dragged everything along with it. Everything was wrecked, everything was ruined."

Though Israel and the Palestinians are locked in a violent four-year conflict, the emergency pushed all that aside.

Gross said they stayed with the Palestinian couple on the van's roof for more than four hours before they were able to climb down. He did not give their names. Efforts to contact the Israelis were unsuccessful.

After they made their way to a makeshift shelter, the Palestinians gave them money and assistance that enabled them to get to Bangkok and board a flight for Israel, Gross said.

"I have to tell you if there's someone I have to thank, quite simply they're the people who got us out of there," he said. "All of our money, our passports, they were left in the hotel ... without them we couldn't have gotten out."

Inbar Gross said their debt to the Palestinians was incalculable.

"Maybe we owe them our lives," she said.

Her husband said he and the Palestinians exchanged phone numbers and intend to keep in close touch.

"Friends?" he said. "Of course we are. Absolutely."
