It's also realistic. The CIWS Ib is specifically upgraded to be used against small boats. That being said, I doubt it'd be used in such a confined waterway. Bullets skip off the surface of the water and fly off in random directions. Thousands of 20mm tungsten penetrators flying off in random directions in a confined water way is extordinarily dangerous to everyone in the viscinity.
