yeah... that sounds like fun... the possibility of getting killed by a mine...
and i especially like the solution one of the skippers came up with about following a merchant out of port... and even more like the need to tag along and follow a slow one through a minefield into an allied anchorage... ... i hope this is also modelled in, which one is it, Harbor Mod or RUB??? i knew i've been missing something,but i haven't had much free time lately to go hunting in SH3... as soon as i get some though, i'm gonna get these modes and have a lil excitment... good thread... --Mike |

HT 1.47 has mines and subnets in it too. I've hit the nets going out of Lorient twice now, not realizing what was causing damage and the sub sinking.... all crew dead. They are not where you expect them to be.
And don't get in a big hurry and use TS over 8. That will surely do you in from hittng a mine or net, if you come out of the channel and turn right to head west. ![]()
