SM-2 missiles and other missiles using the "guided" doctrine only require the FCR on launch and not for their terminal homing, which is the opposite of how it works in real life.

I'm not sure if there is anything we can do to get around this, but Amizaur mentioned a bit ago when we were playing with the AEGIS systems that he would try to do something with doctrines about this, although I'm not sure if he was able to find anything that would work.

Yes hopefully it is fixable!?

I don`t want to stop playing with this platform!!!!

So do we say that the missile in the end game is kind of ballistic and if we are lucky it will hit?

Do we need more testing
May be somebody (SCS) can confirm this?

But becarful here because some system like the OHP (for their Guided missiles) WILL require their FCR/CWI at launch. If it is not there and the missile is being launch, after a couple of seconds the missile will destroy.

That is why, when you click on the `CWI`` when the missile is already in the air, you will (and should) destroy the missile in the air.

Now for the AEGIS it is different. With this system the missile does not require the CWI continuasly. Actually it is just needed essentially at the end game

Mau, this is a hugely difficult problem from a modding standpoint. Rest assured, if we decide to take it on in earnest, we will try to do it right.

I've more or less completed 0.2 - which currently resides in a wiki on my colinux. Currently trying to figure out what it takes to forward to it.

Newest version should now be available on
http://mahuja.servegame.com/mediawik....php/FFG_Guide

Don't be afraid of the edit buttons
Though think about wether it belongs in the manual or the discussion page (which is available from the tab on top)

I have to find a better solution for the forwarding though. Like this, it's gonna fall apart if I reboot.

Oh, and... please be gentle with my bandwidth
