Can somebody please explain what is the USMORS mod ?

I just joined the VMC and got the mod, and it changes the database files, so im just guessing that it makes more"realism changes" but i have been busy with school so have not tested it...i am trav arnold over there by the way....it would be useful to have one forum name for both, but i really liek my pirate avatar on here...neal or anyone with some authority have an idea? kinda is annoying having to remember several forum account names ya know...

There are two different USMORS mods.

USMORS-Fleet Command Project - alteration of the database files to reflect RL operations. It's also a proven mod that doesn't produce a CTD or BSOD on w9x systems.

USMORS-Sub Command Project -alteration of the database files also to reflect RL operations.

Sorry this mod is a private release VMC members only

USMORS is a very hushed organization, and for the people they service its rightly so. The VMC are private testers of USMORS projects, mainly this is due to the fact that Some of our admirals are in charge of USMORS.

I think it is for DW, but only for the members of the vmc if i understood correctly.

1. If he gets to use USMORS if he joins ?
2. What the heck it is anyhow ?
3. If he would appreciate using it ?
Mmmm seems a bit Catch 22 'ish to me.

Like some secret society whose name is unmentionable.

USMORS does not by my recollection have a mod released for DW yet. I could be wrong.

There is no "Catch 22" to joining the vmc.

I would appreciate it if the semi negative comments about the VMC/USMORS would cease as re explaining myself about them is becoming quite the annoyance. If you join the vmc you get to use the mod as an official tester.

However after this line of questioning, I'm going to recomend to Charles that we no longer hand the mod out at the door as i am sure that some of you would join the fleet just to get your hands on the mod. Instead im going to recomend it be a reward for continued service.
