I use Jason´s RND file (24.7) and your SCR (1.44).
If you're referring to Jason's Improved Convoys mod, I have that, too.

Hmmm............. I did do an initial save and exit just after the start of the patrol.................

You are right Gammel, I made some test and these strange bug are there only if you reload a previous saved game when you are leaving the harbour. I never had seen this before (coincidence?) and I think that is a SH3 AI bug like the save/load bug of the planes what I notice since version 1.40 of this mod. :hmm:

So, I will put this warning in the first post.

Greetings,

Rubini.

Thanks jaxa,

We are awaiting!

Gammel, The Avon Lady,

I just made another test in LaSpezia and the save/load bug is present here too.

I will make a test with the old 1.41 version (without AI uboats) to confirm this bug.

Default Allied countries from SH3 at war with Germany

OK, this is a list of start date of war for allied countries in SH3. I think end date of war (only with Germany of course, not with Japan) for all of them should be 08.05.1945, date of capitulation of Germany.

1. Poland - 01.09.1939;
2. France - 03.09.1939;
3. Great Britain - 03.09.1939;
4. Australia - 03.09.1939;
8. New Zealand - 03.09.1939;
6. India - 03.09.1939;
7. South Africa - 06.09.1939;
5. Canada - 10.09.1939;
9. Norway - 09.04.1940;
10. Netherlands - 10.05.1940;
17. Free French - 18.06.1940 (de Gaulle's famous radio speech);
11. Greece - 06.04.1941 (28.10.1940 start date of war with Italy);
12. USSR (not Russia) - 22.06.1941;
13. United States - 11.12.1941 (Hitler's declaration of war);
14. Brasil - 22.08.1942;
15. Italy - 13.10.1943;
16. Romania - 24.08.1944;

It was done for Rubini and Shadow9216, keep your good work guys.

jaxa,

Thanks a lot!

The F1 Help Screen mod will be like this (only the tabs space is not here):

Poland 1939 09/01 - 1945 05/08
Britian 1939 09/03 - 1945 05/08
France 1939 09/03 - 1940 06/25
Australia 1939 09/03 - 1945 05/08
India 1939 09/03 - 1945 05/08
New Zealand 1939 09/03 - 1945 05/08
South Africa 1939 09/06 - 1945 05/08
Canada 1939 09/10 - 1945 05/08
Norway 1940 04/09 - 1945 05/08
Netherlands 1940 05/10 - 1945 05/08
Free French 1940 06/18 - 1945 05/08
Greece 1940 11/13 - 1945 05/08
Russia(USSR) 1941 06/22 - 1945 05/08
United States 1941 12/11 - 1945 05/08
Brasil 1942 08/22 - 1945 05/08
Italy 1943 10/13 - 1945 05/08
Romania 1944 08/24 - 1945 05/08
France 1944 08/26 - 1945 05/08

But I'm not sure if a conflict with the game engine and the Greece date will be had. Perhaps a mod in the defside.cfg is needed before we change the date for Greece.

What do you think?

I`m pretty sure it`s a general game issue and has nothing to do with your mod.
For sure i can say that the strange behavior after save/reload has nothing to to with the "submarine-extension"
you and serbuto made to the mod, cause i recognized it with the very first release of harbour traffic.

Wasn´t there a similar save/reload "feature" in sh2 too?

Gammel,

Uff...thanks for the information, I really hope that the Ai uboats presence has nothing to do with this bug. I'm at my work now and later I will make the test anyway. BTW, I don't remember if SH2 have a save/reload bug. :hmm:

Thanks for the dates. I'll recompile the DefSide.cfg when I get a few and see if Terrapin will post it, along with the added roundels.

Jaxa, can you give me any info on Polish sqns in the battle of the atlantic? sqn numbers, unit codes, etc? I'm trying to get multiple skins to come up with the different nationalities flying for the RAF- Polish, Czech, Free French, etc. If you have any, send me a pm 'kay?

Rubini - I really don't know, but I'm affraid that you have right.
But is it really necessary to do?

Greece start date of war in SH3 isn't correct in my opinion. I think it is a mistake, becouse in my sources correct date is 06.04.1941, when Hitler's army started invasion of Greece.
I don't know anything about date from SH3 - 13.11.1940. But I've found that 13.12.1940 (December, not November) Hitler signed Operation "Marita" (invasion for Yugoslavia and Greece) for execute.
I think that start date of war for Greece at 13.12.1940 may be accept as historical correct.
Now you don't have to change (mod) defside.cfg file I think. Is it right?

Shadow - no problem.
It was only one Polish squadron in The Battle of Atlantic - 304 Bomber Sqn. from 15 Group of Coastal Command (304 Dywizjon Bombowy Ziemi Śląskiej im. Księcia J. Poniatowskiego). His unit codes were NZ (during duty for Bomber Command) and QD in Coastal Command. Squadron destroyed two u-boots (U-321 and U-441, but last times attack on U-441 was revised)
Squadron was equipped from 1942 with Vickers Wellington Mk. X, XIII and XIV.
I'll try to seek for you some photos or drawings of planes from this squadron.

jaxa,

Yes, I think that is good for Greece for now. Shadow9216 are making a new work with this stuff, then perhaps we will change or adds more information on the F1 help screen in the near future.

I will post a little update with these corrects dates soon.

Thanks again!

Rubini.
