Logitech Z-5300 5.1's, everything sounds great, nice pan effects; even get crew updates off the appropriate speaker depending on what im lookin at.

I use headphones all the time - I find it more immersive, and with earphones I'm never worried about disturbing others.

I don't remember voting on this, but the vote button is missing and I can see the result?
 Anyway, like many others, headphones when it will disturb others, otherwise speakers.  Occasionally I use headphones when I am using the hydrophones myself as I find it easier to detect ships at extreme range.
