Whats your favorite and prefered Uboat type?
I know there are a bunch of them. Each with advantages and disadvantages.
For me personally, i rather stick with the VIIB.
The VIIC and VIIC/41 are decent upgrades.

The IX boats, for example IXB are good for long patrols. They carry 22 torpedoes. But it seems a bit to big to play with. Perfect for crossing and operating in the Atlantic. When you want.to target the US shores. The 10.5mm deck gun is powerfull.

IIA and IID and the others are nice for short patrol.
I like to use them to raid enemy ports.
