yes, this issue seems to be consistent. i was assigned a new boat out of pearl and immediately transferred to brisbane. so, i shoved off on my mission and returned to brisbane. at the time of refit/patrol end, my base had mysteriously changed to Perth/Fremantle....just like magic.

I was thinking it would be interesting if there were forward bases, where you could obtain fuel, or possibly very minor repairs, but not torpedoes, but I guess there is no way to do this.
