Thanks for the money to fund our own F-35's Australia, but what is the range on these planes?

Who are they going to attack? How will they be used to defend the homeland?

Are they buying the Navy/Marine version for aircraft carriers?

Do they even have aircraft carriers?

May be a good idea to stay close and friendly with the US in case the Chinese decide on further expansionism.
