I disabled a few at random through JSGME (some are greyed out..what does that mean?) and the scenario still has 1 sec. lockups (always when the warspite guns the German ships especially on 4x speed) but it did not boot me out! So that's an improvement..
I cannot trim the sub after reaching 30% flooding... I guess that's true to life. Anyway, I can see it's probably going to work... must have been a mod. |

Great,
The exe that bypasses Uplay is much faster with loading. I disabled all mods, and there's no stuttering...totally smooth play all the way! graphics are still stunning, and I can see my sub on the TAB mini-map but the Warspite scenario played out differently... but not worse! So which mods are considered top priority or in the essentials category? (for realism, as I get deeper into the game?) I repeat stock-graphics need no enhancing IMHO. Thanks for pointers, Pando |

my mini mod list is super stable, but I will research yours, and migrate towards it... I must say there's so much of this game which is immediately stunning, though I know these forums are usually full of players who complain about the opposite... (hence the mods). cheers, pando |

After years of playing SH3 with GWX3.0, I'm going to give SH5 a proper shot. I played it once earlier this year and deleted it in disgust after getting half-way through the first "mission", but I feel it's time to reappraise it. I'll use these mod lists as a guide. Just couldn't get by with the antiquated graphics of SH3 any more, regardless of how good the gameplay is.
