I think (just my own opinion), there shouldn't be any faces.. it's not SH-online..

I am looking for the right motivation yet, and my home is so hot these days (32° C as I am writing) that sometimes I think my brain is going to stew.

But don't worry, our project is definitely not abandonware

What do you want me to do? Cut off the needles and scale them down to fit the size of clock face?

Exactly

32° is not too hot. 36 and more Celsius degrees are not uncommon here in Sicily, during summer. What matters anyway is not external temperature but how well is cohibented your living place, and my home is an hoven

Very impressive Naights! The UI might finally look like WWII sub simulator rather than some (too modern looking) nuclear submarine...

I have already been playing with the idea of changing the sidebar icons (surface, periscope depth... etc) myself. they still look too "industrial/modern" to me... If you would like some help with this, it is definitely project I would like to get involved in...

U-Jagd needles, full resolution:

The same, but scaled to fit the U-Jagd face texture posted @ post #1:

I have added screwless needles as optional, as screw reflections spinning with the needles would look odd (using them, the screw should be placed directly on clock face).

For the same reason, I have not used shadowing effects on needles (shdows would be static, following needle's rotation instead of light position).

Hope you like them. Later today I will work on the day/night/weather gauge as I had suggested yesterday

Sure Conus, if you want other icons why not to get involved? all we have different tastes, more options, much better

@ naights

Day/night indicator, to be used in place of the captain face with the horizon on the background:

Likewise the clock needles posted below, the image is png format with transparent RBG channel, but if you prefer I can send you the psd file with separate layers.

P.S: can anyone using MFCM Alt faces send me frontal portraits of the officers, preferably against neutral backgrounds
