If only they could be merged in to one game

Never got in to 4, I tried but It just didnt do it for me, I like US subs alot, but i think for me the problem waas the PTO theatre, I just never been that intreasted in it for some reason.

When it looks too fake, 50% of enjoyment is gone for me, that's why i prefer SH5.
I could stay hours just watching the so nice sea and scenary rendering.
SH4 isn't bad at all, and it's a very stable game even modded.
SH3, i tried it again for some minutes with GWX3, but have to admit i gave up very quickly. Too many years from nowadays standarts...

Actually, running back to tell Olaf to prepare a meal to keep Benno's morale up and telling Heine to help with the eels and then scrambling back up to the con constitutes my aerobic workout. If I'm really pooped, I hit Shift-U. Still need a mod to tell Willi to clutch the diesel to the generator to get to Drumbeat or the South Atlantic as refits at Bonaire and Dakar are arduous. Tnx again for mod list; its the best I've viewed so far. Havent figured how to set FATs as in SHII yet.

Not yet. The big limitation with SH5 at the moment is lack of sub types other than the Type VII and lack of merchant ship types. Also no one has made working locks for the canals and harbors as was done for SH3 long ago. And even with very good mods the SH5 campaign is still lacking.

When all those are finally addressed SH5 may still have a chance of leaving everything else behind, but that may never happen. Still, I keep hoping.

I wish that GWX4 had seen the light of day. It would have been amazing.

Then my idea is sound, but who can make it so! If SHIII is a good idea and SHV is a good idea and the best of both is combined we achieve a P -51 type epiphany and end the futile thread of which is best. Or as in my college logic course which permanently warps one's thinking: if P-then Q-if Q then R, in which case if P you don't really need Q to get to R.! Summon the Dark Wraith and Trevally and any other savants mods and cut to the chase.
