Wobbly and Bitburger are nice, never had the other two though. If any Germans (or Dutch) are visiting our fair shores soon. . .

And I totally agree with you on temperature, lager beers should be cold, bitter beers should be in the middle, and red wine should be warmed (and decanted and left to 'breathe').

Shandy, an isotonic drink.

I hate warm wine also, no matter how much it costed. Not icecold, but definitely cool. Not more than 8 or 9 °C.

The Kendermann label offers a good range of German wines, and they taste good and are neither sour nor candysweet even when the price per bottle is in the lower, affordable segment (they have expensive ones, too, but I never tasted an argument for spending that much money). German wines still seem to have a not so good reputation internaitonally, especially the red ones, but I think that is undeserved. You just need to know good choices, and must be willing to pay mabe 5 Euros per bottle instead of just 2. More than 5 Euros per bottle I could not afford, but also would not be willing to pay even if I had the money. Considering what wine-lovers will to pay, 5 Euros still rates as a very cheap wine. But I taste a differenc ebetween a 2 Euro and a good 5 Euro wine. I do not taste a differences between 5 Euro and 25 Euro wines.

Maybe I am just a barbar.

Kendermann Grauburgunder trocken currently is one of my favourites, served not icecold, but cool. The hotter the day, the more it refreshes. 5 Euros.

Agreed entirely

If you like German wheat beers, can't go wrong with that one

The beer is okay, a bit of an acquired taste but I've honestly had worse

Swedish beer that can be bought in stores in sweden taste like #¤%¤#

But as I was told - it's not so important how it taste, the important thing is that it can make you drunk.
