Why do the Aliens always choose New Mexico for their secret meetings with which ever president or secret government department,(which by the way are not very secret if every conspiracy web site in the world tells you who they are!),?
you would think they'd be able to monitor all our forms of communication ,realise that New Mexico is a cliché and find somewhere more discrete! ![]() |

I always did find it funny that alien sightings always did originate in remote areas within an airplanes gasoline range of secret US test sites.
Convenient backstory to cover up for failed/sucessful research. (overspending on dicey projects) Blame the Nazi scientists who sold themselves out to avoid Nuremberg. While essential, cowards all the same. Aliens got nothing to do with this. Just an excuse to call blown military secrets the machinations of lunatics, and rednecks.

I seriously doubt any aliens have visited Earth in the past 500 years, and surely not in the past 60 for the simple fact we would see them coming.
Its possible to detect the maneuvering thrusters of the shuttle from beyond the orbit of Mars. A tiny ion drive like used by the SMART-1 probe that produced 1/1000 of a g of acceleration could be spotted at 1 AU. How far away could we spot a drive that puts out 1 or more g of acceleration necessary for interstellar travel (say by Bussard Ramjet)? Someone else can do the math but the range would be in light years. |
