I found the dang thing on subsim,
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...do=file&id=530
Enigma simulator and Karle's Enigma codebook tool.
Some of us familier with SH3 have seen this thing. When I start playing with it I can't put it down, it's so dead on.
TDW, do you think there's any chance...?

PS: I this wasn't a letdown seeing as it's been on the subsim site all this time

The one I linked to earlyer (Here it is again, **Clicky**)
is the newest version (v7.0.2) of the one here in SubSims (v6.2.0). You can also make your own code books.

Also, for TheDarkWaith, here's a link to the source code, **Clicky**
It's written in Visual Basic.

But if you'd like to look at the Enigma Sim author's source code, he just asks you to email him, and give credit where do. (All info is found in the FAQ section.)

This is so cool. Even if we could get a simplified version it would make communication with the BDU or whomever much more lifelike. I still haven't figured out how to encode yet so I guess that's my next item on my list.
BlackDiamond, Thanks so much for getting this together.

No problem.
Wish I could help you code it, but I have no clue how.
I'm no programmer, I got a D in programming in College.
(It's why I fly planes now, much more fun.)

I'm just good at finding info. (Espacially when google is involed )

Yes, that is a problem. Decoding is an arduous process for most folks. It would have to be simplified. Now that a bit of time has gone by I can see that it would really be a chore to do this. I suppose it's best to leave it as it is.
To anyone interested in the plugin it's on the subsim site I think in the SH3 download pages.
Cheers and Good Hunting.
