Bruuuuuuce!

Has anyone here heard of the Stone Pony?
Deep Bruce fans would know it I suppose.

I live the next town over, sadly the town is it in, has been taken over by Bloods, Crips and insincere property owners, stealing from the town of Asbury Park.

I actually saw Bruce a few months ago, show up there and begin jamming with a local band, spontanious like. It is so awesome after all this time he never lost his love for his roots.

Truly the Boss!

He even gave me an autograph without accusing me of wanting to put it on e-bay. (like Roger Clemens did when I stumbled across him in Midtown)

Freeholds son, I can tell you what Freehold turned into....

Just thought I'd revive this old thing by posting a new song from the album that one can listen to via Swedish site Aftonbladet.se (some kind of marketing thingie, Springsteens Twitter linked to it so have to be legit).

My verdict: AWESOME!!!!

Here it is, on Youtube:

I am happy to see someone from overseas able to appreciate one of Jerseys sons.

I always thought he was great, and really great to his fans, and with all his fame is very down to earth.

E-street band was named after a narrow street (narrow, as in have to pull over to let opposing traffic through) less than a quarter mile long in Belmar NJ ( next town over from me, just over the Shark River highway 35 Bridge)

I remember passing out on this street a few times, alot of bars in Belmar, as it is a shore haven for Bennies (New Yorkers who come down in the summer, and cause accidents with aggressive city-like driving, and make great ticket revenues for cops, because they always drive drunk)

A testament to Bruce and his boys, and their love for his home. Small town boys made big..
RIP Clarence.
