Hardly the case. I've seen dead forums where there are weeks and months between posts. This isn't one of them.

You want to see a dead Submarine Forum?
http://204.13.154.195/phorum/index.php Still a good site for information, but that forum is "overdue, presumed sunk"

This forum is far from dead...some areas are quieter than others that's all.
Welcome. |

I think it may seem dead because, as far as i know, all major mod work has stopped. Now i'm not saying all mod work has stopped (has it? I don't know.) , just the big ticket items. IMO, modders in general are the heart and soul of any silent hunter community. Not enough mods (both large and small) being published/updated, forum activity in general will decrease. More modding, more activity. Less modding, less activity.
Look at any forum, look how many mods are actively being worked on, and then compare that to the activity. The SH4 ATO and PTO workshop forums compared to one another are a great example. |

Sim was released in - what? - 2005?
It's been along while and all of the small mods have been made - many remade - and the large mods are stable. Folks are busy playing or have moved on to other things. A few newbies post and the old hands respond. Pretty much the normal activity arc for a forum. |

What do you do when you are here, any particular games or general topic?
