Nice nice nice!

I like the floats & boats pictures.

The "models" jokes remind me of a personal story. Back in '78 I was working at a local hobby shop. When I told a friend I had a job at Douglas Models his immediate response was "Cool! Can you get me a date?"

I like the simple ship diarama and, the WWII German search plane on the catapult, with looks like builder made and an excellent job too.

There are lots more to come just as soon as I can downsize and convert them them to jpeg format.

There are a few 'unbelievable' dioramas and one guy had a table with many different submarine models 'outstanding'.

You've got me there....it looks a little like a Fairey Battle perhaps?

UG was the squadron code used by 16, 310 and 1654 Squadrons during the war http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_RAF_Squadron_Codes

This link will explain what aircraft used....typically no Fairey Battle

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._16_Squadron_RAF

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._310_Squadron_RAF

I doubt it was 1654 Squadron

http://www.raf-lincolnshire.info/1654hcu/1654hcu.htm

I appreciate it doesn't help identify the aircraft type but the model builder may have attached historically innacurate decals.

The F-4 looks to be a fan favorite for model makers. It is a nice plane to build. So many different color schemes from country to country that used this aircraft.

The front 3/4 looks more like a Grumman Avenger, but then the rear fuselage lets that theory down.
