Mchalo12,I had asked in past and someone posted a link to a possible fix but I didn't advance on it.What I am talking about is taking away the bino stabilization away.It really adds to the effect of being on deck in storm with water streaming down the lenses if it also moved with the sway of the ship.I understand the fact that most people play with stabilization on for all 3 scopes though....even though I do not.

I have a value of 0,0 (from earlier Flakmonkey mod, if I remember correctly), and the effect still shows correctly (for example, on conningdeck, on fullscreen)

Yes, it is possible - I have binoculars and uzo without stabilization, but don't remember what option you must change. Experiment with the values (compare with periscope values) - maybe in CameraParams in DummyCamBinocular.

Hi,

the vaule you are looking for is binocular -> restricted rotation -> Tight

set the value to "true" in order to take the stabilisation away. I did this in my game, too. You should also change the minimum elevation (-50) in order to be able to compensate the waves.

The issue with the radius value is quite funny, perhaps the game does not like a value of zero and therefore changes to full sceen effect? Did you ever try a very small value?

Best regards, MCHALO12.

No, I didn't. Uzo effect also works with 0,0. I will try later those values.

My apologies, i didnt mean to sound like i was accusing you of using my mod! I was actually rather pleased someone else had done it since as you say the links to my version are very dead.

Hi flakmonkey.

I also want to apologize for the perhaps a little too harsh tone I used, I just wanted to make clear that I did not use any of your work... I just want to improve the game, there isn't any point in getting famous by using the archievements of other people in my opinion...
By the way flakmonkey, is there any chance we will be able to see your type IX interior some day? Your interior of the type VII is so amazing, I think everyone would love to see the one of type IX!

@wolfstriked: as mentioned before, just send me the cameras.dat of GWX, an I will implement the changes!

Best regards, MCHALO12.
