I'm sorry to hear that. I lost my father almost two years ago to a stroke. You are right, we should make the most of the time with our family that is given to us.

My dad passed away last januari / 20 (age 79) . He fought a brave 5 month battle he couldn't win

. He donated his body to science .

My parents are all fine, but losing my grandfather on my dads side really hit me. He died from a combination of Parkinson's disease (which we only found about after his death) and Paget's disease.

I lost my father a year gone last December....you really think they are going to be with you forever but then the time comes and all you have left are good memories.

Remember them with love and kindness because that is surely how they will remember you.

My father died in 2006. It left a huge void in my life. Nothing replaces your parents, particularly if your relationship with them was good. Make sure you show them you love them whenever you can.
