Well first time SH5, 2years SH3. Installed SH5 tonight for the first time and the control interfaces are so different. Wheres the dials and guages? All i have is those fruity little controls top right and bottom left, am i missing something. I this how im supposed to control my boat just by these dinky controls!

As Gunfighter stated, check out the Mods section.
In particular TheDarkWraiths Multiple UIs. This Mod will allow you to have the old dials like SH3/4 or a newer improved version of SH5 which is a lot easier (in my opinion) to use.

Geez, Must of done something wrong as i dont see all those dials and gauges., and i think i goofed again as i installed all the mods in the folder. Mmmmmm. Should my GEME and my MODS folder, be in the main folder or in the data folder. I did notice changes to my map with little star circles around shipping.

Download and extract the mod enabler JSGME to say my documents .
Double click the jsgme setup and install it to say my documents . Dont tick create desktop icon if doing it this way . You will notice a new jsgme yellow G emblem appear . Move this to your silent hunter 5 main game folder C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5 Double Click on the yellow G emblem now in your main game folder . A folder called MODS should have now appeared in your main game folder . Extract the UI mod with say winrar and look for the folder called MODS , move these to the newly created MODS folder in your main game folder . ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by THE_MASK; 12-04-10 at 12:51 AM. |

Is there a control that will cause the boat to hold it's position so I don't have to keep checking on it and making adustments constantly while trying to target a ship....
