Might be a MiG-21, wreckage looks wrong for a 15.

Dorsal spine looks like a late model -21 all right.

You'd think he would have flown northeast, shortest distance to Rus. Hmmm

Haven't really looked at the picture, but now that I do, it does look more like a MiG-21.

The article says it's the sort of plane used during the Korean War. Of course, the article is probably wrong.

Probably wanted to clear North Korean airspace before heading for Russia.

Yea definite MiG-21. Probably a MiG-21PFM

Yes, but the article says it was used during the "1950-1953 Korean War", which I doubt unless the Great Leader has the power to time travel among his many abilities.

Lockheed does the same thing, they bump the digit after the 'F-' up a number or two and add another 0 to the price tag.
