You can count that high?

I be sumwhut edumacated, so I's prefer the Eurotrash two-fingered version.

I love it.....Sumwhut I have heard some people literally pronounce it that way, but I have never read a spelling of it.

No offence Ducimus but SHIII can have all those features, but if it doesn't have wolfpack, it means nothing to me.

I really don't see why I should start another campaign in SHIII and being the only one fighting the most powerful navy of the world...

I just wonder if the hackers using the DRM-FIX are also facing the same problem

You don't see any hackers complaining here, do you?

Seems to be only ligit customers complaining about not being able to play

I think Blizzard founder, Frank Pierce, says it best

The DRM for the much anticipated Starcraft II is a single online activation.

No wonder most folks have consigned SHV to the crapper....

Wait, SH5 has wolfpacks?!? That isn't meant to sound sarcastic...oh too late, but really whenever I radio convoy and task force positions nothing comes of it.

I see no sarcasm, only misinterpretation (as usual...)

Since SHV is an unfinished game, of course wolfpacks are not fully operational.

Nevertheless, we might see it later.

On the other hand, probability that we ever see them in SHIII must be very close to zero.

Perhaps. But SH4 has much better graphics and doesn't take 10 years to load.

It's all a state of mind. Yes, working wolfpacks would be wonderful, for about one year of the war. I see no reason to have SH5 if I can't run a Type II, Type IX or Type XXI.

If wolfpacks are the only criterion you have for a decent sim, then you are missing out on all the rest of the war in favor of one very limited feature.

Misinterpretation, again.

I never said it was the only criterion I had but IMHO it's the major feature that's been missing so far.

I mean the battle of the Atlantic without wolfpacks is approximately the same as the blitzkrieg without close air support.

Or even worse, imagine the blitzkrieg without force concentration...

In other words, a major part of the strategy is missing.

Very limited ?

I mean the whole idea of the u-boat war was to coordinate and concentrate them together once the enemy found. (I guess I'm not learning you anything, perhaps you forgot..?)

I fail to see what's very limited in this ?

----

BTW, did I go to the SHIII forum and tell them their game sucks cuz it won't ever have any wolfpacks...

----

Edit: To avoid any misinterpretation, I'm not saying SHIII sux, I'm just looking for something else.

And that was all I was responding to.

I was referring to dates, and just a little research showed how wrong I was. I apologize for using that word. It was my belief that wolfpacks were very limited in time frame, lasting only a year. In fact there were a great many of them from 1940 right through 1944.
