Even that inevitable *GONG* as your perfectly lined up shots bounce harmlessly off the side of your victim. I can always tell when i've fired a dud, they're the ones that are running on target.

Maybe im a masochistic freak myself, as the crew managment is one of the features i really miss in SH5
never the less, i established a suitable rotation, at least for the VII... just in time for me to roll out my new career in a type II... don't ask...

I find that crew management adds an extra tactical factor to the game. Here is an example: I always try to engage a convoy with a fresh crew and my best sonar op on duty. Then once I have determined course, speed for the convoy and devised of a plan to strike from within, I put my sonar op to rest to use him again for evasive action on the way out.

Another example is to make sure your watch officer if fully wrested before surfacing, or your flak gunner is resting when surfaced in case you need him and so on. The tactical situations are endless since the qualifications of the crew are limited. you only get one qual per patrol and odds are you may lose on of your best people when loading with SH3 commander. (I play with the reassignment option turned on)

Yes it it annoying but I find it adds spice to the game.
Regards,
Immelman

Using GWX Gold, sh3 commander (gwx 8hr). How long should i watch them for, rotate the officers on duty, etc.
I let my division heads and leading POs handle all that. In other words, the no fatigue model.
