But this mod rocks ! Was depth charged while moving inside the sub, and the shake effect made me almost falling from my chair.

I found when the explosion_impulse was too high they would take damage and even sink themselves. Its a really fine balance when playing with the charges.

Glad to hear you like this mod

As mentioned i never planned to release the mod because there are far to many mods out here who changes the depth charge damage values. But when you like it, I will provide a version with propper documentation and maybe a more "rocking" depth charge exploding sound, but it will take a few days, i'm short of time at the moment (work...family...).

I've tried a few scenarios with different types of escorts and watched them attacking me with the external camera. Saw one escort blowing itself up, but this one was almost a sitting duck when he threw his charges so i decided not to reduce the damage/impulse of the charges because it's quite realistic (though no escort commander would do such a stupid thing).
I've tried not to overpower the charges and find a good balance. But for sure the values need some fine - tuning.

@Monte
Don't know the values of the AI Killer mod, will check them and then answer your question.

@Oscar
You should take a lot more damage with this mod. Wondering why you could get away without damage. Every time a charge is well placed i DO take damage (that is being repaired in a micro second ). Will perform additional tests.

@The General
Will try to post a video in a few days, as mentioned I am short of time at the moment.

Have fun and good hunt

Regards

I did take damage but it was so minor and quickly repaired that it doesnt even effect me. I guess this is something for the damage model boys to fix.

I tryed your mod and it's great but i have a question: do this mod has some effect on flooding? I ask because today i've been hit by 2 charges and i had 12% flooding and i didn't see no wather on the floor or squirting from tubes...maybe a conflict with other mods?

Nope the charges just need to be tweaked properly, damage models are fine. The only tweak to consider is changing the VIIC/41 hit points from 500 to 250 as per my UHS mod.

I found a perfect balance and I recommend any mods changing the depth charges to compare, if not, use my exact formula.
