Think in terms of this being a methods and mechanics workshop instead of the only possible application. Then you will start thinking that all mods are good mods, even if you don't choose to use them.

Personally I think this one is extra cool.

Air dropped depth charges are already in the game, and if you dive, planes will already attack your last known position and drop their bombs/DC's. In this case you'd prefer them to have bombs
edit - assuming your using my attack mod

This is just one of my little side projects while I wait for the next patch before I go back to the attack mod. Tho some of my projects are going to be part of it.

When I was testing with that merchant they never scored a hit .. but later on I got a nice solid hit on the Bismark with one.. not in the rudder.. maybe next time

As far as having to get the planes to line up .. etc etc .. the devs already had most of this in. I think they just gave up part way through.

Also the game has already been modded to go to the end of the war so the new
ASW technolgies would be good to see.

Well so far the only issue now is that 95% of the time the darn torps won't run when they hit the water. They go forwards with the momentum they had from the plane then slow down and stop. Because of this behavior I often see that if a slow plane drops a torp then it just falls and sinks to the bottom where as with a fast plane the "dive planes" of the torp are able to keep it at the surface. But sometimes I get one that runs and have a few screenies of the bismark getting hit.

It's been a frustrating one that's for sure but with the next patch soon upon us I'll wait and see if there's any hidden/unknown changes that might help in our favor.
