No, really, it's great to be old. I was born just five years after WW2 ended. I had the National Geographic that came with a little recording of John Glenn's three orbits. I remember going outside with my dad to watch TelStar fly overhead. I remember when President Kennedy was shot. I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Heck, I saw the Beatles LIVE! I was in boot camp when Neil Armstrong made his "One small step" speech. I missed Woodstock while I was in the navy (of course I didn't hear about it until later anyway). I visited lovely Viet Nam courtesy of Uncle Sam. The year I turned 21 was the year they lowered the voting age to 18. The first president I voted against was Nixon in '72.

In fact, the only bad part about being sixty is that my body is also sixty. It hurts to get up in the morning. It hurts to run. It hurts to walk. Sitting isn't so bad except for the part where I have to stand up again. In fact I hate this. Thanks so much for reminding me, you *$&#-^#*(#(# ^@*@-&*#&@ *&^$%#*@!!! Happy *&#&@^# Birthay indeed!

Whew! That was fun! Thanks guys. Let's do it again next year.
