Well, there is a patch out on the net since a week or two.
It's just waiting for UBI to adopt it officially.

Seeing how the handle the patches (you get 2, maximum 3) it would be better for SH5 to see patches comes as slow as possible.

The slower they will come out, the more bugs they will be able to fix.

I don't think they're going to pull out 10 patches for that game. Well, I might be wrong but Ubisoft is not Blizzard (on any level).

I don't see how this game survives six months without a patch. It is being eviscerated on Amazon and other review sites.

My concern is how Dan and the other Dev's handle the pressure.

I talked face to face with Dan in Houston.

i heard a rumour that neal is in talks to buy sh5 from UBI and the modders here will remove the DRM and finish debugging and fixing the game for him so he can re-release it as a finished game and get rich off of it beyond his wildest dreams.

but then, its just a rumour

I heard a rumer that the only reason ubisoft is holding off on the patch is because they don't want to add more download requests while they have problems with the DRM servers.

I heard that the REAL reason for the Autumn release of an uberpatch is to get adequate corporate funding for some of UBI's devs to take an online history course to learn when the war ended so they can re-set the ships' logs to 1945.
