My explosions run at least twice as fast as everything else. Almost as if TC was on.

Might be issue with the particles, as we have already seen the messed up particles when running on one core on dual core PC.
Sorry to bump up an old thread, but I could not find an answer to this problem.

SH5 runs extremely smoothly on my C2d 2.66, 2gb, 460gtx, WinXP - usually at around 50-60fps. I use FRAPS to get fps data. But while Fraps displays constant 60fps, with everything being perfectly smooth and zero lag, water splashes, bow spray and explosions lag at 1/4 or even less of the normal speed (with volumetric smoke again being perfectly fine). How could that be and was this bug ever found a solution to?

It was enabled already when I posted yesterday, I tried disabling it and the problem is still here Turned it back on - once again, no difference. Completely smooth gameplay and camera panning at 60 fps, but splashes/wake and explosions lag at all times.

OK, just for future reference: I've upgraded to 2500K processor and 8gb ram and problem is gone: explosions, splashes and wakes look good.
