So sh-3 and sh-4 was a harbour simulation then? It had a rich and alive harbour.

Yes, but it was just a place to leave and come back to. The only way to view the harbor was from the boat, or with the free camera.

I'd rather see them focus on the submarine part of the simulation, not the walking around before I leave part. If they made it so you could walk around the harbor, and do everything a captain did, why leave out the preparing a patrol report part? Or filing paper work? Or every little detail that doesn't really affect the driving and fighting the sub part of it?

Yeah, the harbour was very much alive! The folks were immune to machingun- and cannonfire.

That's a long walk, several miles at least. Probably better to drive.

Nah, it'll end up right across the street. But we can make vroom vroom noises and pretend we drove there.

I'd prefer to actually drive. Imagine walking through the "fireboat drill"!

After I checked out some of the nurses in GWX's harbors I looked for a bar. Seriously I spent a game night just setting out in real time. Had a great time looking at the ships in home port, seeing a Battle Cruiser at anchor and see it slowly fade into the distance was just damn cool.
